Tucker walked silently into the barn. He still wore the same clothes as he had when he arrived earlier that day. He looked at each stall, awaiting that silver head to pop out from the stall.
A grin crossed his lips when he saw Spook, his Andalusian gelding, peer out of the stall, glancing around the aisle for Tucker. Spook was a bit nervous, just getting here. Tucker thought he should comfort him and calm him down. Spook was always nervous and excited at new places. A lot of horses were.
Tucker smiled and patted the gelding's large head as he stuck it out of the stall. Spook gave a low nicker of greeting, his barrel vibrating lightly. Tucker grinned and grabbed a carrot from his pocket."Here you go, boy."He said with a smile."You deserve it. You were good in the trailer on the way up here. You didn't freak out like you did before."He shook his head at the thought and then patted the steed again.
His fingers moved up into the gelding forelock, brushing out any little tangles that might have formed during the ride over. There weren't many. Tucker had a feeling there were a few in his mane though. He would groom him soon.

Tirzah glanced up as she saw a young guy walk into the barn. Silently she watched him feeding a large stallion a carrot... she smiled. Andalusians, they were so gorgeous! If she ever wanted another breed, it would be Andalusian that she would want. She wouldn't ever tell Mark that but still. Tirzah was grooming her mare Aasifa, they were going to head off to the cross country course after she finished. Her quiet smile appeared as she watched him brushing his stud's coat. Tirzah leaned out over the stal and lifted her hand, but didn't wave it. "Hey, I'm Tirzah." She offered the guy a smile before stepping out of the stall and leading Aasifa out so she could saddle her.

Tucker glanced over to see Tirzah. He smiled slightly and then patted the gelding again. He looked back at the girl and smiled again."Hey, I'm Tucker."He said after she introduced herself."Wow, pretty horse."He said as she led the horse out of the stall.
He looked back at his horse who nudged his shoulder impatiently, wanting him to pay attention to him. Tucker shook his head and laughed slightly."Spook, come on. I'm just looking at the horse."He grinned as he spoke to the gelding.
"Selfish horse."He mumbled about his gelding, but patted him on the jaw.

"Nice to meet you Tucker, have a nick name? I'm called Tirzah most often but somtimes Tirz, either is fine..." she smiled at the compliment to Aasifa. Yep, black arabian mare, high crest beautiful large eyes tiny muzzle... everything was beautiful and Arabian. "Thanks, this is Aasifa, she's a pure bred Arab, I do dressage, endurange and show jumping with a mix of other jumping types too. Right now I'm on my way to do the cross country course, I need practise, we'll avoid the jumps I can't handle today... You've got a gorgeous horse there yourself... Andalusian?" She looked the horse up and down quickly before reaching for her jumping saddle. Aasifa stood with out a bridle or halter on just watching her mistress work. ((ooc--my bad I just realized I called your gelding a stally lol))

Tucker shook his head."Nah. Just Tucker."He looked at the beautiful Arab and smiled."That's cool."He smiled at the thought of getting back in the saddle. He then looked over at Spook as she questioned him."Yes, this is Spook. Pure Andalusian."He smiled."We do mostly showjumping and cross-country. I've never really done dressage before although people say Spook has the beauty and grace to do it."He shrugged and ran his fingers through his hair before returning his gaze back to his gelding.
"Hey, if I groomed and tacked Spook up quickly do you think I could join you on the cross-country trail?"He asked, wondering if she would mind. They didn't even have to ride together if she didn't want to, but it was just a suggestion.

"Ok then, Tucker." she smiled, "Spook? He's gorgeous, I love Andalusians... I am sure he could do dressage, Andalusians are some of teh most gifted horses ever. Other than Arabs of course, but don't tell Mark or Jill that, they both ride warmbloods and are rather set on believing their horses are best." Tirzah straightened the saddle on the pad and glanced back at Tucker, "No problem, that would be fun. Though I'm not really very good... " She smiled, Aasifa and her always loved company.

Tucker smiled and nodded. He stepped into Spook's stall and then looked out."You can leave if you want to. I'll catch up with you later if you don't want to wait."He shrugged and stepped back into the stall, immediatly beginning to groom him thoroughly. After a couple brushes he picked out his silver shoed hooves and then brushed his mane and tail. Even though he wasn't going to a show, he always like grooming the gelding like he was, because he always thought Spook deserved to be treated like he was going to a show, because Spook took good care of him. He never did anything to hurt him, and Tucker would never admit it, but Spook was one of his only good friends.
After grooming the gelding with care he grabbed a black jumping saddle, white pad, and black boots. Spook had a problem with always tearing up his legs and hooves on cross-country, so Tucker figured it would be better safe than sorry. So after he tacked Spook up he led him out into the aisle, looking over him to make sure he had everything he needed.
The gelding wore black boots on all for legs, a white saddle pad, a black jumping saddle ontop of that, and a black bridle. In the bridle, Tucker had used his Christmas money to get the name "Spook's Revenge" in silver cursive writing on the side of the bridle. Spook's Revenge was Spook's show name.((Obviously .. xD))

"No no, " she shook he rhead, "I'll wait - outside. " Tirzah smiled and slipped her mare's bridle onto the fine head. Tightening the buckles correctly she left the barn and mounted outside to walk around a little bit and get used to the saddle. She hadn't cross country jumped since she had come here. The two started off at a walk towards the jumping course, slowly so as not to get too far ahead of Tucker and Spook
