He nodded, listening to her, and for some reason, even trusting her a bit. "Ya, I have been riding a long time. Well, I rode the old ponies in the back field bareback without anything till I was 10. No one knew about it cept' my mom. I reckon thats why she told pop to get me Run when she...died." He looked over at Run. "I've had her 5 years now, since she was 10 and unbroke for a saddle. She learned quick though." he smiled, thinking about his mare. "And she could run. I guess that where her name came from.. Run Like the Wind." His mouth closed, about to snap at Anna not to mock her name but decided, for the first time to give her the benefit of the doubt.

"The cowboys next door gave me hay if I rode the unbroke coalts. So I did. You learn pretty quick that way." He said with a modest shrug. "And I am sure that if you are riding a gelding as characterfull as Apollo, you must be a pretty talented rider as well." His first compliment in a long time that wasn't directed at a horse.

"Run with the Wind."She murmured softly. She stared at Run in awe and then looked at Josh."Run ... wow. Gorgeous name."She smiled and leaned comfortably against the fence, looking at the two horses in the distance.

"Oh, well, thankyou."She smiled."Well, Apollo is goofy out of the ring, but he always knows when it's time to be serious."She smiled."He's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with ..."She said with a sigh, staring dreamily at Apollo before suddenly snapping back. She looked down slightly, her eyes soon looking up into Josh's face.

Josh laughed his deepening voice amused. "You know, when most girls say that, they are talking about a boy, not a horse." he kidded softly, leaning against the fence.

"But I know what you mean." He looked over at Run. "But I think that we better give them a chance to rest. All our...my...yelling must have upset them a tad." He glanced over at his mare, grinning as she munched. Her eyes were relaxed once more but she watched them out of the corner of her eye.

"And I need to go to either the mall or the strip and try and find a job." he said hesitantly, confiding in Anna.

Anna giggled slightly, her face flushing lightly before she looked down at her feet and then back ahead of her.

She nodded, agreeing."Yeah, well, I was causing a bit of a commotion as well."

"Oh, ok."She said."Well, I guess I'll see you around?"She questioned. In a way though she kind of didn't want him to leave.

He nodded, "Ya for sure." he added hesitantly, as he began to walk over to leave. His eyes strayed to Anna as he began to walk in the opposite direction, deep in thought. She didn't hate him, if she did she would have left by now.

"Anna?" he asked questioningly "I hear they have an amazing pool and beach up at the house. Maybe after we are both done everything we need to do today we could go check it out." His voice cracked at the end and his face blushed red with embarrasement, from the question as well.

Anna looked at him. She smiled lightly and nodded."Um .. yeah, sure."She said, her face a bit flushed. She looked down at her feet and bit her lip, grinning slightly.

She walked towards the girls' dorms and glanced over her shoulder. She looked at Josh one last time and smiled softly before giving a soft wave and heading towards the dorms.

While Josh is gone I guess we'll keep this board up and then when he gets finished or something you can just say she is in her dorm and he can just knock on it and she'll come out or something. I don't know. xD
