Anna walked silently towards the pool. She watched a couple people swimming and hanging out, but not many. She smiled slightly and glanced over her shoulder to make sure Josh was still there.

She walked over towards a couple chairs and tossed her towel onto one of them."I'm going to go ahead and get in."She said. She liked swimming, so she wasn't going to waste any time. Unless he wanted to leave early.

Anna took off her pink top tank and her jeans shorts and moved towards the water. Her body was naturally a bit on the tan side. She sat on the edge of the pool, sticking her feet into the water. It was a bit cold. She looked at Josh."It's kind of cold."She laughed slightly.

Josh followed Anna self consciously, glancing around at the others at the pool, a glare sent their way in case any of them decided to say anything. At all. Don't they dare take a shot at him or at anyone with him. If they did, they better hope they knew to keep their hands up...

"Ya, me too." he said, pulling off his tee shirt as she got ready to get in. He shivered when the shirt was removed, his tanned skin expected with his brown hair and goldenish eyes. His chest was not buff, he was only 15, but nor was it skin and bones. As Anna sat down on the edge he laughed, dipping on foot in, backing up and taking a run at the water, cannonballing in, hoping to splash Anna.

Anna was about to get in when Josh did a cannonball into the pool. Unfortunately-well for Josh- the water didn't hit Anna. Anna stood up and pointed and laughed slightly."You missed!"She laughed and suddenly squealed when she tumbled into the pool. Her head popped up from under the water."Erghh."She said and wiped the water from her face, even though her hands were wet anyways.

Josh surfaced, grinning dissapointed he had missed Anna. Ahh well, later. Laughing as Anna fell into the pool, he swiped on hand, gently lobbing water in Anna's direction. It probably wouldn't ge tthere but whatever. He grinned, leaning back into the water, basking in the day light.

Looking up at the sun, he smiled. Hey, maybe he would like it here after all.

Anna smiled as he splashed her, the water hitting shoulders, not quite making it to her face. She sighed and smiled again, looking around at the people who talked and chatted to each other. Everybody here seemed to be enjoying the warmth of the day.

Anna leaned back beside him, glancing over and smirking. She looked back up at the sky and then turned over and put her hands on his chest, pushing him down into the water. She took her other hand and pushed his head down, dunking him into the water.

Josh spluttered as her hands pushed him down, one handful of water being sent up trying to get her head wet. He reached up, messing her hair with one hand, taking a deep breath and swimming around until he could escape her grasp.

Laughing he surfaced, before falling silent and making sure no one had herad him actually acting like he belonged here. When he was sure there was no one around, he allowed himself to smile once more.

Water fell onto Anna's head, causing her hair to splotch with water. She dropped underneath the water and shook out her hair, coming back up to find her hair straight with water. She wondered if Josh would think she looked like an idiot with her hair all wet and straight when it was usually always wavy and curly.

She ignored what Josh might think about her and smiled back at him."I'm glad you invited me to come here. And I'm glad you showed up ..."She smiled, winking at him and splashing water towards him again.

Josh grinned as she came up, her hair very different that usual. Not bad, just different. He grinned again as she splashed him, this time holding his hands up in defeat instead of retaliating. He was sure that it could go on forever so he might as well take the highroad. He laughed at the thought.

"Ya me too." He said, glad that he had had a moment of completet stupidity and invited her. I mean, how long could this truly last before she realized she hated him? Or that he was no one important, that he might as well be "invisible." "Why wouldn't I show up?" He asked, leaning back against the edge of the pool.
